1K a year Position Overview The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, scheduling and overseeing the work of the Maintenance Staff to ensure safe and efficient operations of equipment throughout the entire facility.
Essential Job Functions Must be able to oversee 6 to 8 Maintenance Technicians during a 12-hour shift Communicate assignments and major tasks to employees, making sure they have all instructions necessary to complete work assignments completely and correctly Periodically check work in progress of each maintenance employee and provide immediate assistance and instruction as needed Requirements 2-5 years' experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing environment Ability to read, follow and understand mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings, schematics manuals and manufacturers' specifications Excellent planning and leadership abilities Strong communication skills Working knowledge of safety procedures (PPE, LOTO, Confined Space equipment, etc.
) Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously when necessary Must be detail orientated.
Computer skills with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools Physical Requirements Requires repetitive movement Requires walking Requires kneeling, crouching and stooping Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls Requires lifting up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting and/or standing NOTE:
