Job DetailsJob LocationEncore Wire - McKinney - McKinney, TXPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftFull TimePosition Overview As a strategic partner, this is a leadership position that involves providing technical safety and health direction to EHS staff, to production, and corporate personnel, maintaining / advancing corporate safety and health programs and objectives including directing safety training and compliance programs, monitoring safety and health regulations, and provide technical support to EHS staff and to plant and corporate personnel to ensure compliance with Federal and State safety and health regulations.
Essential Job Functions Provides technical safety and health support and information to production and corporate personnel.
Maintains written safety and health programs and policies.
Identifies company safety training needs and develops and coordinates safety training programs.
Develop annual company safety and health goals.
Participates in new product/process reviews including process hazard analyses, Operator Training, etc.
Prepares performance metrics for distribution to Executive staff Supports plant personnel in selection of appropriate personal protective equipment.
Maintains corporate safety library (e.
g.
videos, regulations, reference manuals, SDS, etc).
Reviews all incident investigations of injuries and near misses and recommends follow-up action.
Promotes safety and health awareness through internal company memoranda and specific training programs.
Understands Federal and State occupational safety and health regulations and monitor regulatory changes as they occur.
Provides technical support to corporate and plant personnel to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations.
Determines OSHA recordability and manages all OSHA logs.
Monitors lost-time injuries/illnesses and Worker's Compensation Claims.
Reviews injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follow-up as necessary.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements Bachelors or advanced degree, preferably in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Manufacturing, Environmental, or related technical discipline.
Minimum of 15 years of EHS experience in manufacturing environments with at least 5 years managing EHS professionals.
Displays strong problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, NEC, TCEQ, and EPA regulations.
CSP certification.
VPP experience desired.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
