Their duties include but are not limited to scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance benefits, entering/updating patient demographic information, manage fax inbox, referrals, medical records and processing payments.
This position will also support the back office as a Medical Assistant, when needed.
Front Desk Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts Manage all incoming phone calls and assist with inquiries.
Patient check in and check out Ensure patient information is up to date, including billing information Sending out patient orders Maintain and manage patient records Confirmation calls Scheduled patient appointments Collect co-pays and payments Referrals Respond and comply to requests for medical records Complete other clerical duties as assigned Maintain stock of forms and office supplies Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality Step in as a Medical Assistant on a ad hoc basis to support business needs Back Office Essential Duties and

oPrepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
oMeasures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height).
Records information on patients' electronic charts.
oDraw and collect blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
oAdminister injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers Education/
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Medical Front Desk Experience required Medical Assistant Experience preferred E-Clinical Works experience is a plus Great time management and organization skills Excellent telephone and customer service skills Motivated team player Job Type:
