This position will lead a SAS production control group. Major responsibilities include the coordination and supervision of day to day activities; sell-off and shipping processes, APEX and PRISM functions, interface with logistics, PDC, quality engineering and shipping organizations. Additionally, this manager will be responsible for the coordination of customer on time delivery requirements to meet financial plans. Other tasks will include evaluation of contract requirements, the planning of shipping containers and other appropriate required material to ensure proper shipping. This role will be responsible to coordinate and facilitate all support functions to enable flawless execution in the sell-off and shipping processes. In this role coordination of off shift and weekend coverage may be required to support factory operations.
Requirements
Minimum six years of experience in manufacturing, operations, production/inventory control/supply chain or material management policies and processes required. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Visio and lotus notes required. Experience in PRISM, VM, APEX & SAP. This job requires clear and effective communication and presentations skills that will be utilized to provide daily briefings and reporting pertaining to operations. This position requires a self starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives in a demanding environment. The ability to interface with all levels of management in an IPT environment is essential to perform in this job. This individual will also be expected to promote company values, facilitate problem resolution.
Education
Bachelor degree (BS/BA) in business, inventory control, industrial engineering, supply chain and or related degree is required. Master degree is desired.
