Sr. Reliability Engineer

Candidate will be an integral part of the WLED team as a reliability engineer supporting surveillance and targeting systems (STS) production and CRM programs in McKinney TX, interfacing directly with STS program leadership as well as key suppliers. The individual will conduct the following tasks, as necessary, in order to influence product reliability. Developing technical solutions to complex reliability problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity with little to no supervision. Providing technical direction to cross program participants. Performing reliability analyses (de-rating/stress analysis, failure modes and effects analysis, reliability predictions) as applicable. Facilitating and leading team failure investigations through active management of the FRACA system (failure data collection/analysis, failure analysis, root cause & corrective action determination, facilitation of corrective action implementation, failure investigation reporting). Participating in failure review board (FRB) meetings to discuss details of failures and failure trending. Representing company at customer meetings as applicable. Performing internal and external supplier interface to resolve reliability issues. Successfully guiding and managing the completion of major tasks and associated teams.Participating in trade study investigations.
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of related engineering experience. Experience facilitating and leading team failure investigations through active management of the FRACA system working knowledge of MMIS and VM. Experience applying reliability principles during either development or sustainment program phases. Experience addressing reliability issues with program design and production support teams. Experience gathering and analyzing data from a variety of sources. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics experience interpreting military documentation as it relates to reliability, maintainability and testability engineering.
Education
BS in engineering, logistics, math, business administration, or equivalent.
