Incredibly well preserved survivor 1981 Kawasaki 440 LTD (KZ440 D-2, belt drive) showing 1500 miles (!) on the odometer.
The time capsule bike was stored for many years and thoughtfully recommissioned over the past several months.
The bike runs exceptionally well, sounds great and looks fantastic.
The KZ440 is a beautifully balanced, very reliable bike that is great for around town with plenty of power for cruising.
It is completely roadworthy and is fully registered, inspected and tagged.
The following items have been completed since being pulled from long term storage:
new battery new tires new spark plugs new air filter replaced drive belt completely rebuilt the carburetors adjusted the engine valve clearances changed the engine oil complete rebuild of brake system (new lines, new pads, new piston seals, rebuilt brake master cylinder) unused, New Old Stock right- and left-hand mirrors (rare finds) The bike includes the complete original tool kit as well as original owner's manual and electrical wiring diagram.
